Astrid Escrig Piñol

BIO
I have a PhD in Public Health, specialization in Social Sciences and Global Health. In research, I have worked in the areas of inequalities in health and precariousness, health systems and the elderly, migration, mental and emotional health, and innovation in qualitative methodologies. I currently work as a professor at Mar School of Nursing (ESIHMar), where, in addition to research, I teach subjects related to research methodologies and public health. Before working at the university, I was coordinator of research and international cooperation programs for several NGOs. I consider fundamental in health sciences the relationship between teaching, research with an interdisciplinary approach, and scientific communication.
