ALBA - Objectives

General objective:

To collaboratively explore the experiences, needs and strengths of children and adolescents aged 6 to 16 years with a parent with a SMID, as well as the barriers and opportunities of current support systems in Spain.

Specific objectives:

  • To analyse the emotional, relational and educational well-being of children and how this is influenced by family dynamics, gender and community context.
  • To evaluate the accessibility and effectiveness of existing health, educational and social resources in Spain.
  • Identify international models of intervention that can be adapted to the Spanish context to promote resilience, equity and belonging.
