WHOLE-MINDS is the acronym for the project "Building Healthy Clinical Learning Environments: Implementing Strategies for Emotional Management in Clinical Nursing Practices from a Whole-School Approach".

It arises as a response to the need to offer emotional management tools to nursing students so that they can face not only internships, but also the challenges they will experience throughout their professional careers. However, to promote their well-being, it is necessary to adopt a broader perspective and take into account the educational community in which they develop, as this can influence their well-being, especially in clinical learning environments. From this perspective, the whole-school approach takes on special relevance, initially designed for child and adolescent education environments, but with great potential for training with clinical practices.

In this context, WHOLE-MINDS aims to develop a comprehensive intervention model for the promotion of mental health and emotional well-being in the clinical learning environments of the Bachelor's Degree in Nursing in Catalonia, based on the adaptation and application of the whole-school approach.

The project is made up of a multidisciplinary team and is organized into three work packages, which correspond to the different specific objectives. It takes into account the perspectives of students, nursing staff and experts in nursing degree training, clinical learning environments and the whole-school intervention model, in order to translate into effective and applicable solutions that improve the emotional well-being of present and future generations of health professionals.
