The existing distance between academia and assistance prompts us to design strategies that enhance the ability to transfer knowledge into caregiving, in a way in which the questions that arise in the professional healthcare field at the time of assistance can have arrive to the research teams and, conversely, that the findings given in academic and research environments can be quickly transferred to the healthcare field. In this sense, we want to work in interdisciplinary, collaborative environments, being influenced by the knowledge of others, influence with our own, and build new perspectives of reality that help us live better.
