Study abroad for ESIHMar students (Outgoing)
Are you thinking of studying abroad for a quarter? This is what you need to know:
- There are three types of exchange programs:
- Erasmus+ - Universities in Europe holding a bilateral agreement with ESIHMar-UPF. Only available for clinical practices. Erasmus+ offers direct funding and is compatible with other scholarships, but the student is responsible for finding and applying for any additional scholarships. Language requirements apply.
- SICUE - Universities in Spain holding a bilateral agreement with ESIMar-UPF. Available for clinical practices and theoretical classes in the 3rd quarter, and only for clinical practices in the 4th. There is no direct funding available, students are responsible for finding and applying for external financing and scholarships. No language requirements apply.
- Bilateral agreements - Outside Europe holding a bilateral agreement with ESIMar-UPF. Available for clinical practices and theoretical classes in the 3rd quarter, and only for clinical practices in the 4th. There is no direct funding available, students are responsible for finding and applying for external financing and scholarships. No language requirements apply.
- You can travel at different times of your degree:
- 3rd quarter of 3rd year - All placements are available for this period. The minimum stays are equivalent to 12 ECTS, the elective courses of the 3rd year.
- 1st or 2nd quarter of 4th year - Due to the number of credits that each institution offers, not all places have the option to travel during these periods. Availability varies according to the academic year, and it is detailed in the different calls. 20 or 15 ECTS are received exclusively from clinical practices periods.
- Available host universities are listed on our website.
